What is the Ikon Pass?
The Ikon Pass is a scheme created by the Alterra Mountain Company, the owner of around 15 winter sports resorts across the world. You can get into over 50 destinations with your pass and choose benefits that suit your needs. Not only that, you’ll benefit from Adventure Insurance, which gives you the peace of mind that you won’t lose your cash if something happens and you can’t make the trip. What is included in the Ikon Pass and What is the Discounted Price?
It depends which pass you choose. There are four types of pass available for students:
Ikon Pass: (Student discount price $899) Gives you the most access to 58 of the best resorts including 16 unlimited skiing and riding destinations. Stay for up to 7 days at 41 destinations.
Ikon Base Pass (Student discount price $659). Get access to 51 resorts worldwide including up to 5 days at 36 destinations.
Ikon Base Plus Pass (Student discount $879 ). Get all the benefits of the Ikon Base Pass, plus access to 7 additional destinations including 14 unlimited skiing and riding destinations, and 5-day stays at 36 destinations.
Ikon Session Pass (Student discount $239/$319/$389). This pass gets you 2, 3, or 4-day stays at selected destinations.
As well as that, your chosen pass will allow you to enjoy benefits like up to 15% off food, drinks, and retail as well as discounts on The North Face gear to keep you warm on the slopes.
Who Is Eligible For The Ikon Pass Student Discount?
Enrolled college students in the US and Canada who meet the following criteria:
United States University Criteria: To qualify, eligible schools are those that are classified as Title IV, degree granting, universities in the United States.
Canada University Criteria: Accredited Post Secondary institutions that offer associates degrees or higher according to the Canadian Information Center for International Credentials (CICIC). Schools in Quebec also qualify if they offer Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or Attestation of College Studies (ACS).
How Can I Get The Discount?
